Every contribution is an essential investment in our children's future.
The PTA of PS 59 provides crucial funding to our school to cover DOE budget shortfalls, needed supplies and support, as well as diverse enrichment programs. There are many ways in which you can help support PS 59 financially. Whether contributing to the Annual Fund, shoppng through our affinity partnerships or attenig our benefit, you are helping to improve the quality of education for our children.

2017-18 Upper Grade Annual Fund:
2nd - 5th Grade Families
The PS 59 PTA Annual Fund supports enriching acadmeic, cultural and social programing that benefit the entire PS59 community. Without the generous support and funding received from our commited PS 59 community of parents and their networks, we are in jeopardy of losing the essential enrichment programs that fortify our childrens' education each and every day. Each family is asked to contribute at least $500 per child for a total of $25,000 per grade to the annual fund each academic year.
2017-18 Lower Grade Annual Fund:
Kindergarten & 1st Grade Families
The Lower Grade Annual Fund helps the PTA to continue to hire both supplemental staff for Kindergarten and First Grade classrooms and provide enrichment programs and crucial supplies for your child's education. A minimum contribution of $2000 per child enrolled (in K or 1st grade) is suggested for the Lower Grade Annual Fund.

The proceeds from our annual Spring Benefit fundraiser help cover the cost of our many enrichment programs. The Spring Benefit includes open bar, lite bites and silent auction.
